The chef is their son Martin who is loath, after a recent TV series, to admit that he trained at Liverpool's Adelphi Hotel. A very different Adelphi from it present incarnation. When Martin trained there it had 35 chefs and the French Restaurant was world famous. Brother Tim is front of house and looks after the hotel side of the business and sister Nicola is the accountant.
