Getting There: Take the A12 and head towards Colchester. Follow the signs for Colchester Zoo. Look for signs to Mersea Island. Follow the Mersea Road on to the island. Bear left into East Mersea. The Holiday Park is 50 metres on the right from the Post Office
Things to do: Layer Marney Tower. Britain's tallest Tudor gatehouse built in the reign of Henry VIII. Explore the gardens, farm and nature trails, then visit the tearooms.
