Thorpe Woodland Park is set in Forestry Commission woodland and is a quiet, secluded site with pitching areas in little open glades, ideal for the wildlife observer.
This site has 9½ acres of land accommodating 104 pitches, some of which are on hard standing. The hard standing pitches cannot be used with awnings.
Swaffham is a Georgian market town with a fine Saturday market. The town is also known for being the birthplace of Howard Carter, discoverer of Tutankhamun's tomb and there's a good exhibition about him in the local history museum above the Town Hall.
