Start Bay Caravan Park sits in the picturesque countryside of Devon's South Hams area, with wonderful views towards Dartmoor, yet only a mile from award winning beaches.

The park exudes an easy going, friendly atmosphere and is safe for young children, as it is set back from the road. The season runs from April to the end of October and guests have use of the outdoor heated pool from mid May to early September.

The park has newly acquired luxury caravans, capable of sleeping 2-6 people and each touring pitch has its own electricity and water supply and magnificent country views. There are loads of things to do come rain or shine, just pop into reception for activity ideas.

Details

Getting There: From the A38 take the exit signed to Totnes and Dartmouth. In Totnes take the Kingsbridge road, through the village of Harbertonford to Halwell. In Halwell turn left at the church, signed to Dartmouth. (Tourers will need to take the next left, about a mile further on, at the garage). After four miles turn right for Strete. Start Bay Caravan Park is on the right as you enter the village. From the ferries in Dartmouth, take the Plymouth road (A379) out of town. At the mini roundabout half way up the hill turn left along the coast road signed to Kingsbridge. Go through the village of Stoke Fleming to Strete (about 5 miles). At the village store turn right. Start Bay Caravan Park is 150 yards beyond the church on the left.
