Morecambe Lodge is situated on the shore of Morecambe Bay and surrounded by gently rolling fields, which are drumlins (ice-age glaciation feature) as is Preist's Skeer in the bay.
The Park is in an ideal position overlooking the bay and Lake District Hills; with direct access to the beach, which has an international important SSSI and Ramsar salt marsh. The caravan park offers a range of owner occupied caravans and touring pitches for visitors who wish to bring their own cans.
Within walking distance are three pubs, three restaurants and several take-aways and cafés.
There are a range of attractions just a short distance from the park, including the historic town of Lancaster is 4 miles away, Morecambe 3 miles; Carnforth (the site of Brief Encounter) is 2 miles away.
