It lies in a secluded and sheltered vale with wooded hills tumbling down to the rear, in an ideal position for walking or visiting the many attractions of the area. Harlech Castle and the famous Ffestiniog Railway are nearby - slate mines provide a fascinating insight into life in the bygone days - the renowned Italianate village of Portmeirion is just across the estuary from here.
