Shardlow Marina and Caravan Park is located in the small village of Shardlow, approximately 5 miles from Derby. It accomodates over 60 owner occupied caravan holiday homes with over 30 caravan or tent pitches on a peaceful, mostly flat, grassy site.
With good facilities on the site and a large number of attractions in the surrounding area, there is lots for everyone to enjoy. Activities available nearby include golf, fishing, boating, cycling or simply enjoying a peaceful walk in the beautiful Derbyshire countryside.
Ideally located just outside of Derby, the Shadlow Marina and Caravan Park provides a superb base for those wising to visit such attractions as Alton Towers and Drayton Manor theme parks, or the historic town of Loughborough.

Went here for the weekend.A nice area and a nice enough site.BUT!! people left their dogs in caravans to bark..other campers near us were very loud at night time with no consideration for others around them ... Read More (Date of experience: Aug, 2011 )

Like it (no love it) for a week end away, plenty of room for all, nice pub on site, food good, talent on at weekends (when I have been there has been) there is a Chinese and Indian resturant down the road, plus different pubs to visit for a drink/eat ... Read More
