The 'Forest Park' is a spacious, level, well drained caravan and campsite of some 7 acres set in the centre of 2000 hectares of Forest.

You can stay in a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and close to the Suffolk Heritage Coast. Felixstowe is the main seaside resort but for many the charms of Aldeburgh with its world renowned Music Festival or Southwold, which has resisted commercial pressures to change, may be more appealing.

As you would expect there are many traditional pubs and restaurants in the area providing a wide variety of food - including oysters, crab and lobsters!

Things to do
For those interested in history a visit to Dunwich, which was a major town before being swallowed up by the sea, would be worthwhile. There are castles to visit at Framlingham and Orford. At nearby Orfordness you will find pagoda style buildings and a profusion of broadcasting aerials which over the years led to many rumours as the public were not allowed on this small strip of land. To discover the reasons for the secrecy you can now visit by catching a ferry from Orford.
