Ranksborough Hall was built in 1893 and has been visited many times by Royalty. Under new management, there are many upcoming developments planned including the construction of exclusive holiday lodges for retired people. The site currently accomodates a number of residential homes.
Located only 5 miles from Rutland Water, there are many leisure facilities available including sailing, fishing, cycling, a bird watching centre, arboreteum and nearby golf courses. There are many other places to visit locally, accessible via a labyrinth of footpaths linking wonderful villages and hamlets.

I suppose in hindsight it may have been wrong of us to show disappointment when we arrived, it seemed to upset them and get us off on the wrong foot right from the start.
