Castlewigg is a small friendly park set in the heart of the Southern Machars of Scotland. Surrounded by unspoilt countryside, it is an ideal retreat for those seeking peace and tranquility. To this end, we do not accept single sex groups. We cater for couples and families.

Castlewigg is an ideal base for exploring Wigtownshire, with the beautiful countryside, coastlines and towns and villages of the Machars. Visit the pretty harbour towns of the Isle of Whithorn, Garlieston and Port William, the book town at Wigtown, or the golden sands at Monreith Beach. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Join us on your visit to Scotland, you will not be disappointed.

Details

Opening Times: Open for touring and camping, from 1st March to 31st October. Privately owned holiday homes enjoy a 10 month season form 1st March to 7th January. Castlewigg Caravan Park does not have a hire fleet.
Getting There: From A75 Newton Stewart, south on A714. 6 miles turn right following Whithorn. A746 through Sorbie - 2 miles on right.
