Dickinson Place is situated in the centre of the village of Allonby just a short distance from the town of Maryport in northern Cumbria.
The park has a peaceful atmosphere with only 21 static pitches, 6 chalets and lodges and 5 mixed pitches for visitors who wish to bring their own touring caravans and motorhomes. The park has an excellent range of facilities including parking spaces besides accommodation, a laundry room, a modern shower/toilet block, and electric hook up points for tourers.
Dickinson Place is located just 200 meters from the beach, which provides a beautiful place to relax during the summer months. There is a range of outdoor activities in the local area including fishing, sailing, golf and horse riding. The village of Allonby is just a short distance from Maryport, which hosts a range of attractions including The Lake District Coast Aquarium, the Senhouse Roman Museum and the Maritime Museum. The caravan park is also an excellent base for walkers who wish to explore the scenic Cumbrian fells.
