The Croft Caravan & Camp Site

The Croft Caravan & Camp Site is located on the outskirts of Hawkeshead, a quaint village in the heart of the Lake District, surrounded by picturesque Lakeland Fells.

The Croft offers a range of accommodation, including self-catering flats, static caravans, and pitches for visitors to bring their own caravans and camping equipment. The Campsite has an excellent range of facilities, including a large shower/toilet block, utility room for washing dishes, fully equipped laundry, large games room with pool table and games machines, along with video films which are available for hire from reception.

The Caravan Park is an excellent base from which to explore the Lake District, with Ambleside just 5 miles from Hawkeshead village. Ambleside has a variety of attractions ranging from the Wordsworth museum and the world of Beatrix Potter (the author of Peter Rabbit). Ambleside is also a gathering place for walking enthusiasts wanting to explore the beautiful scenery of the splendid fells. For those who enjoy watersports, Lake Windermere is just 2 miles away from the Caravan Park, which is excellent for boat rides around the lake, as well as windsurfing.
