Dolguog Estate is located near the small, market town of Machynlleth. The estate provides chalets and lodges and has some beautiful views of the river and the Welsh Mountains and is amid 10 acres of lush gardens that contain more than 50 species of trees. The estate has a range of facilities including it's own restaurant and bar as well as being pet friendly. There is a selection of activities available in the area including fishing, golf, tennis, cycling and horse riding.
Machlynlleth is situated in the lower Dyfi Valley, which is only 10 miles from the coast. It is a very small town with a population of only 2000. The market is every Wednesday where you will find stalls selling organic vegetables, fresh fish and plenty of other treats.
There are many places of interest in this little, Welsh town including the historic Royal House, the Tabernacl arts centre and the Parliament House where Owain Glyndwr had his Welsh Parliament in the early 15th century.
