A caravan and camping site exclusively for adults situated in the Dartmoor National Park in Devon. This is a tranquil and secluded site that caters for caravans, motor homes and tents.

Access is quick and easy from the A30. Ideal for those wishing to go caravanning and camping in Dartmoor and Devon and an ideal base for discovering Dartmoor, Devon, Cornwall and the South West. The cathedral city of Exeter is about 18 miles away. We are surrounded by farm and woodland with walks from the site and many more within easy reach. Dogs and pets are welcome. Chris and Jan Patrick own and run the site and would welcome the opportunity to be your hosts. We have a small shop, off licence, laundry and Calor agents.

Details

Local Area: Woodland Springs is situated in the north east part of Dartmoor National Park about 1.5 miles from Whiddon Down on the A382 off the A30 (leave the A30 at the Whiddon Down junction, also signposted services). We are in the hamlet of Venton, it is not shown on most maps due to the small size of the hamlet. We have excellent access, Exeter, Plymouth and the English Riviera are all accessible from here as is North Devon, Cornwall and Somerset. There are a great many things to see and do in the area. The local attractions include Castle Drogo, Finch Foundry and the Mythic Gardens with many more attractions and activities available in the area.
