Wicksteed Park, the UK's oldest leisure park was founded in 1921 by Charles Wicksteed and has welcomed millions of visitors in it's 83 years of operation. With over 35 rides and attractions hidden in the peaceful 147 acres of lakes and parkland it offers the perfect combination of tranquillity and entertainment for everyone in an ideal location.
The Wicksteed pavillion, an attractive building full of character, is available for special events such as weddings, banquets and corporate events. In addition, the sits hosts 60 touring caravan pitches on 16 acres of parkland.
Wristbands are the favoured option for everyone giving unlimited access to the rides for the day, which include the UK's only double Pirate Ship! But if a white-knuckle ride isn't to your liking, there are gentler rides for all the family: Mini Jets, Chairoplanes, inflatable fun and the Splashing Seals, all of which are suitable for young children. The park attractions are divided into 4 sections known as the playground, arcade, lakeside and arena areas.
