Carrog Station Camp Site

Station Camp site near Llangollen, is a small touring caravan and camping site situated in the beautiful Dee valley. This quiet, level site is convenient for many local attractions, including Llangollen Steam Railway.

Carrog Station is opposite to the site, offering visitors the opportunity to leave their cars or camper vans on our site while they take a leisurely steam train ride into Llangollen, where there are many tourist attractions. Also within walking distance is the local pub, serving food all day, and the River Dee, which is ideal for a picnic on a sunny summer's day.

For walkers and hikers, the area is ideal, as along with the many walking trails and footpaths around Llangollen, there are various walks which can start from the campsite, including the Dee Valley walk; or there is a pleasant stroll up to Penarth Quarry, where there are spectacular views of the valley, or for the serious walker, there is Moel Fferna, 630m (2071ft) and beyond that, the magnificent Berwyn M
