Westgate Park is set in attractive parkland with mature trees, just five minutes walk from the market square of the town of Sleaford in Lincolnshire. It is a mature park that has been carefully developed over the years, resulting in an attractive park with modern facilities in picturesque surroundings.

The park is rich in birdlife with Grey Wagtails, Doves, Kingfisher and Mallard ducks seen regularly while being very conveniently located to the facilities of a bustling market town.

Living on Westgate Park

The homes on Westgate Park enjoy the benefit of mains services including water, electricity, gas and telephone. The roads are tar macadam with street lighting that is lit throughout the night. There are car-parking areas around the park while many homes have parking on the plot.

The resident manager lives at the park entrance providing a watchful eye and additional security. He deals with routine maintenance and administration and provides helpful advice and assistance to the residents.

The park is for the retired and those approaching retirement and friendly, well-behaved pets are welcome.

Local Area: Sleaford town centre is a short walk from the entrance of the park and offers a good range of shops and a choice of supermarkets. The town has eleven public houses, two hotels, several restaurants and takeaway food shops and a thriving outside market that is held on three days a week. There is an excellent library, an amateur theatre, as well as a large doctor's practice and dental surgeries. Several main banks and building societies have branches in the town. Nearby sporting facilities include an indoor swimming pool, indoor bowls, flat green bowling, a snooker club and local golf.
Getting There: The Sleaford area is particularly well situated in terms of transport links with many towns and cities within easy reach by road or rail. Lincoln, Grantham, Peterborough and Boston are all fairly close. The coastal towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe are within easy reach, while Hunstanton and the North Norfolk coast are about an hour and a half by car. The A1 is approximately 30 minutes away. Sleaford has easy access to all major cities via the rail network with London 90 minutes away by train. There are three airports that are within easy reach of Sleaford: Robin Hood Airport (Doncaster), East Midlands Airport and Humberside Airport.
