Established over twenty years ago, the Casuarina Restaurant is renowned for the consistent high quality of its food and its friendly and professional service. Inspiration may be drawn from both European and Asian countries, recipes of bygone days adapted to local produce, the Australian lifestyle and climate. Some dishes are new creations. In simple terms Casuarina cooking could best be described as "Mediterrasian".
Casuarina is perhaps best known and loved for its Flambés. Cooked with great flair in front of the diners on specially designed trolleys with high-speed burners, they are the speciality of the house. Dishes featured include Thai style curries, Cajun Jambalayas, Teriyakis, Asian and Mediterranean Seafood combinations. Flambé deserts including Crepé Suzete and Banana Coruba.
