The University of Nottingham

The University of Nottingham is situated in 330 acres of landscaped parkland, located just outside Nottingham's vibrant city centre. Nottingham's University originates from the civic college opened in 1881, which in 1928 moved to the main campus of University Park and was officially opened by King George V in the November. In 2006 over 100,000 students from all over the world come to study at this prestigious university.

The University hosts a fine range of conference facilities, with 3 major venues to choose from, whether it be an exhibition, small seminar, private dinner or conference, there is a venue appropriate for each occasion.

The University Park conference venue is situated on the main university campus, and can accommodate over 3000 guests overnight. The jubilee campus offers cutting-edge communication facilities, self-contained conference and catering facilities, along with 600 ensuite rooms. The East Midlands Conference Centre is also situated on the main university campus, featuring a range of impressive facilities, including; a conference theatre, banqueting suite and the latest in sound and lighting technology.
