We especially cater for "beginners". Whether you are new to the exciting world of digital photography, "converting" from traditional film photography or just getting to grips with a computer, we can tailor a course that will help you to get the most from your camera. Many people feel inhibited and unable to develop their digital photography skills because they are new to computing and, have not had the opportunity to develop their basic computer skills. Many of the public courses that focus on photo editing products like Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop Elements expect a basic knowledge of computing. Recognising this, we have a computer skills module which is designed to equip the novice computer user with the basic knowledge, skills and more importantly, the confidence to then enjoy our other digital photography courses.

Further Information: All of our courses involve a great deal of practical work. Normally courses are limited to a maximum of 4 -6 students. Training may also be 1-2-1. We will supply a laptop for each student for their coursework. If possible, each student should bring their own digital camera for some of the practical exercises. Your own images will then be used as part of the coursework. For those without their own equipment, a digital camera can be hired for a small charge. Courses are designed to remove 'mystique' out of the world of digital photography. All of the key concepts are explained using simple non technical language. Where possible to do so explanations are backed up with real practical examples.

These will all be run in our new studio facility which is within walking distance of our self catering accommodation.
