Celtic Park is located in the Parkhead area of Glasgow, just 3km from the city centre, with a capacity of 60,832.
Celtic Football Club was formed by Brother Walfrid, during a meeting on the 6th November 1887, in an attempt to alleviate poverty in Glasgow's East End parishes. Walfrid suggested the name 'Celtic' in an attempt to reflect the club's Irish and Scottish roots.
The Celtic Visitor centre allows fans to look back on the clubs history, through a range of informative exhibitions and auditorium. Fans can relive the glory of being the first british team to win the European Cup in 1967, and the 40 league titles they have collected over the last 100 years. Experience guides take fans around the famous stadium where many famous players and managers have come and gone throughout the years, including Jock Stein, Jimmy Johnstone, Bobby Lenox and Henrick Larsson
