Bristol Zoo Gardens has a reputation for excellence, promoting biodiversity through the breeding of endangered species and conservation and establishing programmes of education and awareness about the natural world.
With over 400 amazing species to see, you should allow 2-5 hours for your visit and do not be put off by bad weather, because most of the exhibits are under cover. Seasonal and daily events take place, such as animal feeding, the Zoolympics and face painting. Animal shows take place during peak season and evening programmes of theatre, music and dance take place during the summer.
The zoo relies on your money to continue their fight to conserve endangered wildlife. There are many ways that you can contribute including, annual membership, adopt an animal or be a keeper for the day. The zoo is a unique venue for corporate or social events, with top class catering and a fully licensed bar in the Clifton Pavilion.
