The Hereford Cider Museum is the ultimate resource for learning about the history of cider production. There is a reconstructed farm ciderhouse with exhibits over 300 years old, a collection of the famous 'Herefordshire Pomonas', books illustrating cider apples and pears from the earliest times to the present day, and some original Champagne cider cellars to explore.
The museum is open to the public for self-guided tours, as well as hosting a number of special events throughout the year and the Cidermaking Festival. In total there are now over 26,000 items to view at the musuem including hydraulic presses, bottling machinery and tools. The King Offa Distillery is a working exhibit which produces cider brandy, apple aperitif and cider liqueur, all of which are on sale in the Museum Shop.
