Pet Friendly: Bring along your dog and let him enjoy a run along the river bank, a swim in the river, and the wonderful smells of a country holiday. Your pet is welcome indoors, however we do ask that they do not sleep on the lounge suites or the beds, and any damage is paid for.
Things to do: The Tumut Region offers something for everyone year round, activities within the region are numerous ranging from skiing, golf, fishing, bushwalking, mountain bike riding, canoeing and kayaking to panning for gold, sapphires and rubies. You can even go along to Air Escape and try the ultimate freedom of powered hang gliding in an ultra light plane. Elm Cottage is just a short drive from Mt Selwyn snowfields, which is perfect for young families and the less experienced skiers. Blowering Dam is where Ken Warby set the world water speed record and you can go water skiing, windsurfing and it is a great spot for fishing enthusiasts. KNP, Yarrangobilly Caves, Buddong Falls, Sugar Pine Walk and the townships of Batlow, Talbingo and Adelong are all within a short drive of Elm Cottage.
