Carew Castle and Tidal Mill is situated in the town of Carew, overlooking a 23-acre millpond, just a short distance from Pembroke and the beautiful coastline.
The castle was built over 2000 years ago, developing from a Norman fortification to a spectacular Elizabethan country house. Visitors are able to view an impressive 11th century Celtic Cross, the only restored Tidal Mill in Wales, a medieval bridge and a picnic area which are connected by a picturesque mile round walk. Guided tours of the castle take place on a daily basis, where visitors can learn all about the castle's history.
The site has an excellent range of facilities including a beautiful picnic area on the North side of the Millpond, gift shops, ample parking, and a number of refreshment establishments.
