Sefton Park, is located just outside the city centre of Liverpool with easy access by bus, train or on foot. The park is undergoing renovation with support by the heritage Lottery fund, to update the parks watercourses, buildings, historic listed features and woodland.
Sefton Park is set in 200 acres of land, hosting a range of beautiful flowers, trees and distinctive curved paths to stroll around and take in the scenery. The park is home to the famous Palm House, which is a splendid glass-panelled building hosting tropical plants as well as weddings and functions.
The park is an excellent location for a family trip with open areas to play ball games as well as a boating lake, café, tennis court and basketball court. In the summer time the park hosts a range of music festivals, not to mention a vast array of wildlife from birds to grey squirells. Sefton park is also located just a short distance away from Lark Lane which is renound for its vibrant party atmosphere, with numerous bars.
