The Palm House at Sefton Park was completed in 1896 by Henry Yates Thompson, as a gift to the city of Liverpool.

The Palm House has been reopened for the public to appreciate this spectacular building which hosts a wonderful botanical collection, that has been brought to Liverpool from all over the world. The Palm House has also recently seen the return of the splendid Peter Pan statue in December 2005, where visitors can lose themselves in their imagination with the magic of 'the boy who never grew up'.

The Palm House is also available to hire out for functions, including conferences, parties and weddings.
