Unique motel-style affordable B & B accommodation with an in-house astronomical observatory. No minimum stay, no deposit, no higher rates at weekends or in the peak season.

It features a complimentary guided tour of the night sky from its own observatory & continental breakfast included in the tariff.

The Guesthouse has 3 ensuite rooms all with reverse cycle airconditioners. A maximum of 6 people can be accommodated. Each room has its own entrance off the verandah.

We are ideally located for stargazing and visits to the national parks on Qld & NSW state borders; only 15 minutes drive to Girraween National Park. A number of local wineries and orchards are also neaby. It takes 15 minutes from Stanthorpe, Qld and 40 minutes from Tenterfield, NSW.

A 5% discount is offered to Government Seniors (Budiness) Card and Carer Card holders.

Special Features: Night Sky Tour Guests are invited to join guided tours of the night sky from our Guesthouse Observatory in the backyard. We take only up to 6 people at one time in the observatory, so each guest has plenty of time to see stars through a telescope in a friendly environment. The telescope used for the tours is a 46cm reflecting telescope equipped with a tracking system. Guests can enjoy spectacular views of galaxies, star clusters, nebulae and planets under dark rural skies. The tour starts from 20:30 every night as long as the sky is clear.
