Undine is one of the oldest homes in Tasmania operating as a Bed and Breakfast. Enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and elegant furnishings of this charming romantic bed and breakfast accommodation within the peaceful city of Hobart.
This Georgian mansion, built in 1816 and set within extensive gardens. The home was orginally built as a Farm House, but by 1834 had been licensed as a Coaching Inn. In 1840 it was known as "Rosetta House" and the suburb of Rosetta takes it's name from it, during this time it was operating as Seminary for Young Ladies and in 1880 it became the Undine Hotel.
Each of the attractive guest rooms has an individual style and character, and features a comfortable bed, ensuite, TV with digital reception and DVD Player. Undine's other charms include a guest lounge with home baking, a large heated swimming pool, private courtyard and Eight Ball Room. A delicious hot country breakfast is provided.
