Gip's Restaurant is located in one of Toowoomba's most historical buildings, Clifford House. Sit back, relax and let us look after you in our beautiful garden setting, either in air conditioned comfort or dine alfesco - walking distance to CBD. Gip's is open from 9am Monday to Friday and from 11.30am Saturday and Sunday. coffee and cocktails anytime, casual style lunch with an a la carte menu - anything from a sandwich to a steak. In the evening choose from our seasonal Modern Australian a la carte menu as you sit under a canopy of gently lit oaks and jacarandas with gas lamps dotted throughout the garden The only truly peaceful dining experience in Toowoomba. Adjoining the restaurant is the James Taylor Room in Clifford House- an amazing venue for weddings, private celebrations, corporate dinners, seminars, conferences and high teas. Come and linger over lunch or dinner or come just for a coffee or a cocktail.

Weddings: Clifford House provides the perfect backdrop for weddings in the James Taylor Room or in the Restaurant. The setting is totally unique and there is no other like it in Toowoomba. As you walk through the front gates you feel as though you are being welcomed into a home, not a room. You will be cared for by our team of professional staff, be it sipping champagne under the jacaranda trees on the lawn or stepping from the limousine to be married in the beautiful garden.
