With many more stored in vaults underneath the museum due to lack of space!

Operating as a free museum from the late 18th century, this magical building offers everyone the opportunity to discover, learn and appreciate the diversity and beauty of cultures and countries from around the globe with a range of learning experiences for everyone, whatever your age or level of interest. The museum has excellent permanent exhibitions and an ever changing choice of temporary exhibits for all to enjoy.
