Cavenagh Lodge bed and breakfast accommodation is a four bedroom Lodge and is located on top of a hill overlooking the Alice Springs with great views of the town and backing onto the "Old Telegraph Station Conservation Park". The Park contains desert wildlife and kangaroos often wander up to the Lodge for water.

Cavenagh Lodge is situated only five minutes drive or a twenty minute walk from the town centre. A BBQ area gives great views of the sunset and a large swimming pool is maintained for the guests' use.

To enjoy absolute privacy guests are supplied with a hot and cold larder to cook their own breakfast at their leisure. The Lodge has a liquor licence for the convience of guests due to bottle shop hours. There is a selection of Australian Bottled Wines and Beers.

Daily flights are available from all capital cities with Qantas. Alice Springs Domestic Airport is 15km from the centre of town. To travel by road take the Stuart Highway, this is a sealed all-weather road. There are also four-wheel drive tracks from the four corners of Australia: via the Plenty and Gunbarrel highways, and the Oodnadatta and Tanami tracks. McCafferty's and Greyhound Pioneer coaches provide daily services from all capital cities. The terminal is located in the town centre. Travelling by rail on the legendary Ghan is one of the great journeys of the world. The Ghan runss through Alice Springs from Darwin, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.
