Whilst making your way along the mile-long drive to Bodidris Hall you will see sheep and pheasants meandering across the road just before you see the lake with duck and swans with peacocks striding majestically across the lawns. This former stately home dates back to 1465 and is an oasis of warmth and comfort where you will be made to feel very much at home.
The bedrooms at Bodidris are much larger than in conventional hotels, many with original exposed oak beams and four-poster beds, all have en-suite bathrooms. Set in the 6,500 acre estate, the views from the rooms are simply spectacular and although apparently so isolated, the hotel is only 25 minutes from the historic Roman city of Chester.
Enjoy a drink whilst perusing the menu in the beautiful lounge area. Amongst its features are original oak beams, stone mullion windows, a huge fireplace and comfortable armchairs. The ambience of the Baronial Restaurant is very special and the food is simply outstanding. Many diners are regular visitors, which is a testament to the extraordinary food and excellent service. The Hotel caters for business and private function hire and the character of this hotel provides a unique and striking venue for such a purpose.
