Clenaghans comprises of a beautifully restored bar, restaurant and guesthouse amid an ancient farm building bursting with character and charm and steeped in history. The business has been in operation for over 250 years and their relationship with Sir John & Hazel Lavery is evident, as the walls are covered with copies of their letters and telegrams.
The bar and restaurant decor is very much in keeping with the surroundings and has an old worldly charm. The white-washed walls, stone floors, roaring open fire and antique tables create a gloriously cosy and relaxing atmosphere. They serve an 'A La Carte' menu which changes every six weeks, based on local, fresh ingredients.
There is a range of themed suites, capable of accommodating, single, double or triple occupancy. The rooms offer quality accommodation with many period features still on show, such as the exposed stone walls combined with modern comforts. Clenaghans is situated in a quiet, rural location away from it all, perfect for a relaxing break.
