- Last Stop Ambledown Brook is within walking distance of the three award winning Hills of Hall Wineries, Brindabella Hills, Pankhurst and Surveyors Hill and within a 20 minute drive of a dozen more nationally recognized cool climate wineries such as Doonkuna, Helms and Clonakilla. Places to Eat Within a 10 minute drive there are range of places to eat. Some of our guest's favourites are the Wood Duck Inn in Hall Village and The Green Herring, George Harcourt Inn an English Style Pub and The Gold Creek Country Club. Within a 20 minute drive is local favourite Poachers Pantry as well as the large range of international restaurants found in Woolley Street Dickson.
