Lower Penhallow Farm lies on the Roseland Peninsula, just a mile from Pendower Beach on the south coast of Cornwall. It is a working farm of 72 acres in rolling countryside, with green fields, lush hedgerows and narrow lanes round about it. The farm produces barley and pigs, and most of it can be seen from our farm trail.
The accommodation consists of two adjoining, two-storey cottages, which offer the visitor a convenient and comfortable base for exploring the Roseland and other parts of Cornwall. Self-catering visitors have been coming here for nine years, and many return to enjoy the peace and quiet of a Cornish arable farm, with its own gardens, located roughly half way between Land's End and the Devon border.
The Roseland is an excellent location for a peaceful holiday, with sandy beaches, small villages, boating, fishing and birdwatching opportunities, and plenty of coastal and inland footpaths for the walker, tucked away from visitor hotspots elsewhere.
