Blackgang Chine overlooking the spectacular South West Heritage Coast of the Isle of Wight, provides an eccentric mix of exciting rides, goblins and fairies, dinosaurs, nursery rhyme characters, cowboys and Indians all set within rambling Victorian gardens and designed to appeal to the child in us all.
40 acres of Victorian cliff top gardens hold surprises around every corner. Developed over many years eccentric attractions include a giant hedge maze, water gardens, a hall of funny mirrors and viewpoint picnic areas.
Themed areas to stimulate children's imagination include: Dinosaurland, Nurseryland and Fantasyland. A full sized Cowboy Town; set within Frontierland includes gold panning activities. A Pirate Fort provides adventure play, as does a full sized Smuggler's boat.
Water Force, a 100-metre high-speed boat slide is popular with adrenalins junkies while the young ones can enjoy our junior ride - Tea Cups Roundabout. There is also an exciting roller coaster, called Cliff Hanger because it is perched near the edge of vertical cliffs, climbs to 400 feet above the sea before dropping nearly 40 feet in twists and turns reaching speeds of up to 35 mph.
