Abbey Hotel

The Abbey Hotel is situated in the Notting Hill area of Cardiff known as Pontcanna. Cathedral Road is one of the grandest tree lined roads in and out of the city which is a beautiful conservation area.

The hotel which was built in 1898 is spread over 2 victorian houses which retain their original features. Richard Burton attended elocution lessons in the lounge of No 151.

There are many attractions within a 10 minute walk of the hotel whether it be a sporting event a trip to the theatre or even a shopping trip prior to taking in the finest culinary events from the Welsh Capital.

New owners took over the hotel in January 2006 and are completely refurbishing all bedrooms which will include tea, coffee facilities and flat screen televisions with over 30 channels to view and radio stations to listen too!
