The Black Bull is a traditional, 16th century thatched freehouse. Family owned and run, the pub is set in Balsham village on the outskirts of Cambridge with easy reach of Newmarket, A11, A14 and M11.
The pub boasts authentic beamed bars, with open fire and restaurant. Accommodation is offered in newly built double and twin-bedded ensuite rooms which have been comfortably furnished and are non-smoking with a private entrance.
The Black Bull is one of those rare breeds of traditional freehouses where the emphasis is on providing excellent ale and a wide selection of home cooked food.The restaurant offers a wide selection of food including fresh fish, locally bought meat and vegetarian dishes, all freshly prepared and cooked to order. There is also a large range of daily specials and fine wines.
