Arkle House

Arkle House described in the original brochure as a "Gentleman's residence", was built around 1900. The property has been recently refurbished, with great care taken to maintain the original charm and ambiance of this lovely old building. Most of the original features, such as the antique fireplaces, frieses, picture rails, etc can be seen. The many favourable comments we get from our guests is testament itself to the skill of the craftsmen who worked on the restoration.

Arkle House is ideally situated 1.5 miles from the city centre. We have shops, post-office, chemist, church, restaurant, pub and sports complex all within five to ten minutes walk.
