If you're more into your townlife, Larne is a large industrial town, and the major port of Northern Ireland. From here it is possible to travel to Cairnryan in south-west Scotland, or to Fleetwood in Lancashire, England. There are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs in Larne, and with Belfast only 20 minutes south on the A8, you'll not tire of things to do.
