The Bathtub Bistro first opened its doors in January 1986 and has always prided itself on using fresh ingredients of high quality to produce innovative dishes from around the world. Indeed, we can confidently say that we were amongst the first to serve what is now called new world cuisine.

Our team of friendly staff are on hand to make your night out an occasion to remember. They are here to help make your evening with us an enjoyable experience. The Bathtub Bistro has a unique atmosphere, and we endeavour to make sure that dining with us is as enjoyable as it is satisfying. Candle lit, with a selection of music from blues, jazz to world e.g. Cuban, African all lend to create a relaxing ambiance with a lively atmosphere.

Our wine list includes fine examples of the best wines from many different countries. Our extensive list reflects wine production the world over, with selections from South Africa, South America, Australia and Europe.
