Fabulously positioned alongside the historic quay of Poole in Dorset, The Maison Custom House Restaurant is part of Custom House Poole which five years ago was sympathetically restored to its former glory into a fascinating eatery.
The dining room is situated on the first floor of this elegant Georgian building and approached via a commanding outside sweeping staircase. The Custom House was built in 1756 but unfortunately the top two floors were burnt down but rebuilt as we see today in 1813.
Once upstairs you can relax whilst enjoying the views over the bustling quayside and beyond across the bay to Brownsea Island. The menu is a tantalising mix of modern English /French cuisine specialising in fresh fish seafood, prime British steaks and other meats all sourced from approved farms.
