Our charming 15th century thatched holiday cottage in Cambridgeshire nestles amidst a 'Street' of period cottages of the same era. The conservation hamlet of Streetly End is surrounded by open countryside on the edge of the East Anglian Heights within easy reach of several golf clubs.
Easily accessible from the M11 (exit junction 9/10), this ideal location offers weekend breaks or longer stays - convenience, peace and lots of comfort under ancient beams full of character and charm.
Honeypot Cottage was renovated some 10 years ago to a very high restoration standard and gained an award in 1996 for the fine work carried out. The cottage is of an oak and elm timber frame construction with traditional wattle and daub infill under a long straw thatch roof. The exterior walls have a lovely golden lime washed hue and it sits snuggly in its cottage garden.
