When hiring you must have a minimum two years full licence, be at least age 21, be a minimum age of 25 to drive vehicles over 1.4L and drivers under 25 must have a clean license. On hiring any vehicle you'll need to produce your driving licence, identification - i.e. 10 year passport or credit card with two utility bills and a £50 deposit - returnable on completion of a clean, undamaged, vehicle full of fuel.
