Kensington Palace was once a favoured home to some of Britain's most famous kings and queens and the setting for many great events and dramas in royal history. The palace has been a royal home for over 300 years, and today, parts of the palace remain a private residence for some members of the royal family.
The magnificent state apartments and the royal ceremonial dress collection are open to the public, and will include the exhibition "Diana Princess of Wales" by Mario Testino until July 2007. We recommend that you allow at least two hours for your visit to Kensington Palace and regret that photography and filming is not permitted inside the palace.
