Dating from c.1600 rebuilt in 1738 and substantially added to in 1905, Preston Manor and its contents give a rare insight into life during the early years of the 20th century. Adjacent to Preston Park and the 13th-century parish church of St Peter, the Manor also comprises walled gardens and a fascinating pets' cemetery.
This delightful old Manor House evokes the atmosphere of an Edwardian gentry house and gives you the opportunity to explore more than twenty rooms over four floors, from the servants' quarters, kitchens and butler's pantry in the basement to the attic bedrooms and nursery on the top floor.
The staff of Preston Manor invite you to share their experiences at a series of events and activities in the house, including Twilight Tours and ghost tours for families. These tours are approximately 60 or 90 minutes long and include plenty spooky tales.
