Brighton Buddhist Centre has been teaching meditation and Buddhism in the city since 1974. Activities are directed by members of the Western Buddhist Order, founded in 1967 by Sangharakshita. It is one of over 80 Centres worldwide linked by a common approach to make Buddhism and meditation accessible as a living tradition in our fast changing world. People of all cultures and heritages are welcome.
You can learn to meditate at the Brighton Buddhist Centre. The Brighton Buddhist Centre offers courses and classes in meditation, Buddhism and Yoga for all levels of experience.
Drop in to talk about the activities, view the centre or browse in the specialist book shop. There is an extensive collection of images and books on meditation, yoga and Buddhism, as well as incense and cards. There is wheelchair access to the whole building and disabled facilities.
