This delightful Restaurant 109, on the Kew Road is family run restaurant and ideal if in need of real comfort food. Eclectically decorated, the candles illuminate the original artwork.
A superior selection from the starters menu with fine examples such as Thai fish cakes and Australian blue swimmer crab meat with avocado, lime and pink grapefruit with a cool gazapacho sauce. For the main course the `Australian Morton Bay Bug's' the house special-flown in direct from Australia, a combination between a large crayfish and a lobster, roasted with garlic butter and herbs with a butterbean, chickpea and prawn salad-a must try.
An interesting selection of French and Irish cheeses and a tempting selection of puddings. Finishing with a comprehensive selection of after-dinner drinks and coffee liqueurs make this an ideal restaurant to ramble away many a long and pleasant evening with friends.
