Finn's, the original concept was established eight years ago in Polzeath on the beautiful Cornish coastline. Now renamed as The New Harbour Restaurant, the same traditions of cooking are continued.
The seafood wasn't your ordinary battered cod it had clean tastes and fresh uncomplicated flavours. The food was a picture on a plate, but only in the sense that what you saw was what you ate. No frills or artifice got in the way.
This food imposed discipline in uncomplicated presentation for its beauty is in its natural austerity: a lobster simply dressed with olive oil and a rub of chilli, a skewer of monkfish and king prawns chargrilled to perfection or a plate of fresh scallops just pan fried is perfect. New harbour restaurant believes that all that is on the plate is to be eaten. This concept was commonly known as "sexy fish & chips"
We now offer a great choice of wines, all of which are organic; these are accompanied by a full cocktail list. A meal at new harbour restaurant means enjoying the very best in the simplest form, so come down to Cornwall in your wellies or your waistcoat and eat, drink, sit back and relax.
